League Formats

General Competition Rules:

• Championship points are awarded to the drivers not the teams.
• Each race may have Supplemental rules that may override standard rules and formats.
• Enduro pricing will vary depending on the format of each race (check Supplemental rules for each race).
• Any team that suffers from a mechanical failure will be provided with a replacement kart.
• Any driver that gets stuck under a Tire Wall will be considered a "Serious Crash" and will be disqualified from the results at the end of the race. (unless pushed under by another kart).
• Any driver that forces another kart into a wall hard enough to render the other kart stuck will receive a 60sec penalty.
• No bumping - intentional bumping will result in a 20-second penalty.
• Teams must perform their own refueling as required (depending on the format). One driver must standby with a fire extinguisher while the other driver changes the fuel tanks. Failure to do so will result in a 20 second penalty.
• Any team that runs out of fuel will be disqualified from the results at the end of the race. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure your kart has enough fuel.
• No driver is allowed to step on concrete surface of pitlane. Doing so will result in a 20 second penalty

*SOLO Races:

• 1 hour races:
  • 10-lap qualifying session
  • Manditory 30 second pit stop (performed by IFK staff)
• 1.5 hour racs:
  • 10-lap qualifying session
  • Manditory 30 second pit stop for refueling (performed by IFK staff)

Team Races:

• 2 hour races:
  • 2 Drivers
  • Requires refueling
  • If the kart runs out of fuel, the team is scored as a DNF
  • Driver stints are every 15-20 minutes
  • No driver is allowed to step on concrete surface of pitlane. Doing so will result in a 20 second penalty
• 3 hour races:
  • 2-3 Drivers
  • Requires two refueling stops
  • If the kart runs out of fuel, the team is scored as a DNF
  • Driver stints are every 15-20 minutes
  • No driver is allowed to step on concrete surface of pitlane. Doing so will result in a 20 second penalty
• +3 hour races:
  • No Limit on number of drivers per team
  • Requires refueling as needed
  • If the kart runs out of fuel, the team is scored as a DNF
  • Driver stints are open
  • No driver is allowed to step on concrete surface of pitlane. Doing so will result in a 20 second penalty

*SOLO races are only recommended for experienced racers.
